The Whites (Distillery FC) win the co-operative Insurance Cup, beating Portadown FC 2 -1 at Mourneview Park, Lurgan on Saturday 2nd April. Smiley Monroe, Club Sponsor, was delighted with the result and thoroughly enjoyed the game. The Whites’ supporters really got behind their team and their attitude was fantastic throughout, despite going 1-0 down before half-time. They’ve waited a long time for this success, and along with a top 6 Carling Premiership League finish, Tommy Wright’s Whites have given us all a season to remember.
